The City of Salinas Community Development Department (CDD) is pleased to release a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA)(PDF, 312KB) to provide affordable housing developers and owners the opportunity to apply for financial support in developing multifamily projects that address the City’s housing challenges. Through this NOFA, the CDD will provide up to $8,544,000 of funding to aid in the acquisition, development, preservation, and rehabilitation of affordable multifamily housing.
The application opens on June 24, 2025, and closes July 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The application can be accessed through City Data Services - please reference the NOFA for additional instructions on how to apply. Please read all instructions carefully to ensure that all required materials are submitted in compliance with the NOFA required timelines.
