The Prevention and Wellness Grant application is now open. $200,000 is available to enhance community prevention and intervention programs that contribute to a healthier and safer Salinas. Grant applications are due by 5pm on September 30, 2025

City Announces Selection of Deputy Director of Economic Development

Nathan Kieu has been selected as the new Deputy Director of Economic Development for the City of Salinas. Nathan is a economic and workforce development leader with nearly a decade of experience in local government. We are pleased to announce that he will commence employment with the City of Salinas in January 2026.
