Airport Commission

Six blue and gold U.S. Navy Blue Angels F/A-18 Super Hornets are parked in a diagonal line on the tarmac at the Salinas Municipal Airport. The jets are numbered 1 through 6 on their tail fins. The background shows airport hangars, a grassy airfield, and the Gabilan Mountains under a cloudy sky. This highlights the city's role in hosting major community aviation events.

The Airport Commission studies and makes recommendations to the City Council on all matters relating to the technical operation, sale, lease, rental, improvement, development, and beautification of the Airport's facilities and buildings.
