The City of Salinas, Salinas Valley Recycles and Republic Services are making it easy to get free compost by hosting free compost events. For more information, please call: (831) 758-7446.

  • Bring your own shovel, gloves and containers.
  • Be prepared to self-load.
  • It is required to sign a waiver upon arriving at the event.
